Yesterday BBC Radio 1Xtra broadcast 'EastEnders at 30: Real-Life Drama’, part of which looked at the recent storyline depicting the stillbirth of Shabnam Masood’s baby.

As well as an interview with the actor who plays Shabnam, Rakhee Thakrar, who became a Sands Ambassador after playing the role, the show also features Enfield Sands Befriender Sofia Moualdi. Sofia joined Enfield Sands after her baby, Isaiah, sadly died.

Rakhee has also launched the Sands 'Star on our Tree' Campaign and Christmas appeal and is inviting people to support us in helping bereaved parents devastated by the death of a baby.
