Walk, Jog or run it! 

A challenge event you can take on at your pace. The Easter 50 Challenge invites you to walk, jog or run a distance of your choice, along a signed route, with free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. Get the ‘Ultra Challenge’ support & hospitality all the way – helping you to push yourself further and achieve something really special for Sands. From the Windsor Racecourse base camp, 1500 adventurers will head out on looped routes through the Great Park with fantastic views of Windsor Castle, on to Runnymede, along the Thames Path, and takes in some wonderful countryside.

You’ll get full support all the way, a few post Easter surprises, a celebration finish at base camp, and a BBQ meal. It’s a great way to kick off the 2025 Ultra Challenge season, and to get in shape for summer. With 50km, 25km and 10km challenge options available - there's a challenge here for everyone – and you can join as an individual or as a team of friends / family. You may have to dig deep at times, you’ll meet new friends along the way, and the journey will be unforgettable! As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a big welcome from the cheer squad, a glass of fizz, t-shirt, and a special medal to celebrate your achievement.

10km Challenge

Charity Sponsorship Reg Fee: £20, Minimum Sponsorship: £100

Mixed Funding Reg Fee: £22.50, Minimum Sponsorship: £70 

Own Place Reg Fee: £39, no minimum sponsorship target.

Charity Sponsorship and Mixed Fundraising will need to raise at least 50% of their minimum sponsorship target 4 weeks before the Easter 50 Challenge to secure their entries.

The difference you will make..

Sands want to ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of time.  We want to campaign for change and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the pain of losing a baby.
