For our Together, we are Sands campaign, we are celebrating the impact of the connections made within and beyond the Sands community.

Thank you to Emma for sharing her connection to our community – a community unlike any other.

Shortly after being told my son would be stillborn, I was given information and memory making items that were provided by Sands. Receiving these comforted me and showed me that I wasn't alone. Through the years I have volunteered in many ways for Sands and one of the most special moments is when a member of the public sees Sands and comes to speak to us about their own loss. Being able to share the stories of our babies and talk about how babies lives are now being saved is a very unique connection. We understand each others grief and are comforted by the hope that fewer families will experience this in the future.
