A new Ultra Challenge for 2025, set in the stunning Gower Peninsula – the UK’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and famous for its golden beaches, limestone cliffs, wild moors, ridges, and woodlands. Our basecamp is in the grounds of the historic Penrice Castle, with weekend camping options and the 100km challenge is a figure of 8 route made up of west & east loops which take in the best of the Peninsula, its history, and its varied, unique landscape. With 50km, Marathon, 25km, and 10K challenge options, as well as a bar & entertainment at basecamp – this event will be the highlight of the season! Sands is an Associate Partner with Action Challenge, anyone who selects Charity Sponsorship or Mixed Funding for 100km, 75km, 50km and 25km challenge will get 25% off their registration fee. Discover the discounted registration fee and minimum sponsorship before signing up.

Anyone who selects Own Place will pay the full cost of their place upfront, and have an option to nominate Sands as their chosen charity to support. As own place participant you do not have a minimum sponsorship target you can raise what you can for Sands!

10 mile Challenge

Charity Sponsorship Reg Fee: £20, Minimum Sponsorship: £100

Mixed Funding Reg Fee: £22.50, Minimum Sponsorship: £70

Charity Sponsorship or Mixed Funding option will need to raise at least 50% of their minimum sponsorship target 4 weeks before the Jurassic Coast Challenge goes ahead, to secure their entry.

Sands want to ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of time.  We want to campaign for change and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the pain of losing a baby.
