A recently launched support Group for families whose baby is stillborn or has died soon after birth is holding its first support meeting on Wednesday 30th March at Scarborough Library at 7pm-9pm.

The meetings will be hosted by Chair of Scarborough and District Sands, Gemma I’Anson who is a bereaved mother herself.

'We would like to invite anyone on the local area whose been affected by the death of a baby to come along to along and meet other bereaved families and share your experience, specially trained Sands Befrienders will be on hand throughout the meeting,'  says Gemma.

The meetings will then be held on the last Wednesday of every other month.
