Sands is happy to announce that we will be holding three bereavement care training workshops for healthcare professionals in Cambridge, London and Manchester.
Our one-day workshop allows participants to develop their knowledge, insight and skills to be able to provide high quality, sensitive care to parents who experience the death of a baby, before, during or shortly after birth. The workshops are highly interactive and skills-based, enabling professionals to develop their confidence in providing high quality, sensitive care to parents who experience the death of a baby. All our training is based on our successfully piloted skills-based workshop for professionals: Pregnancy loss and the death of a baby – Sands training for professionals.
Each workshop has capacity for up to 20 participants and is designed for neonatal and gynae nurses, midwives and other healthcare professionals who provide care for parents who experience the death of a baby. Lunch and refreshments are provided to all participants. These courses have limited availability, so please book early to avoid disappointment!
