Friday 30th April 2021 would have been Captain Sir Tom Moore’s 101st birthday and the one year anniversary of the now famous 100 laps of his garden that raised an incredible £38.9 million. 

Captain Tom’s family are now inviting the world to take part in the Captain Tom 100 to celebrate his generosity, the hope and joy he brought to millions, and his sense of fun.

Do it your way

From Friday 30th April to Monday 3rd May,  dream up a challenge based around the number 100 and fundraise or donate to Sands. It can be anything you like, and there are no rules (apart from Government guidelines on the roadmap out of lockdown).

It could be walking 100 steps or running 100 metres, scoring 100 goals or baking 100 cakes, building 100 sandcastles or writing a 100-word poem – anything at all, inside or outside. You can check out this list of ideas here if you need some inspiration!
