Sponsorship Target
£430

How does it work?

Pay £35 registration fee to our Skydive partner Skyline when you book your jump date. To find your nearest airfield please go to the Skyline website for more information.

We ask you to commit to raising £430 to Sands. You would need to have raised 50% of that sponsorship two weeks before your jump date to secure your Skydive day. You then have 4 weeks after your Skydive to collect the remainder sponsorship to send to Sands.

FAQs

What are the weight restrictions? Highest and lowest?

The weight limits for men and women can vary dramatically between the airfields – you can click here to see the limits at each airfield. Just click on your chosen airfield to see the details.

Some airfields have a very strict height to weight ratio – if you are unsure please email the team at info@skylineevents.co.uk and they can let you know the limits.

What are the age restrictions?

For the tandem skydives, the minimum age is 16 – however anyone aged 16 or 17 needs to have a parental consent form on the day of their jump. Skyline send this out once you are booked.

A few of the airfields have an upper age limit for tandem jumps: Cornwall has an upper age limit of 65, Lancaster and Whitchurch have a limit of 70 and Perthshire has a limit of 49.

Where can I jump?

Skyline have many airfields across the UK – a full list of which can be found here.

What if I have a disability – can I still jump?

Our airfields will look at each case individually so please email Skyline at info@skylineevents.co.uk and they can check for you. With any medical condition, you will also need to have the medical form signed by a doctor.

What if the weather isn’t looking good?

The one aspect of your day that is out of our control is the weather – if the forecast is looking bad in the days leading up to your jump, you may be contacted by the airfield to reschedule. If you do not hear, you must still turn up to your jump.

Can I have supporters come with me on the day?

Of course, you can bring along supporters – although following the latest government guidance, this is currently limited to 2 per skydiver. We recommend that they arrive about an hour after your arrival time – this will give you time to have your training and get kitted up.

Can I use a GoPro?

The airfields do not allow you to use your own recording equipment for the jump – however, you can purchase filming from the airfield on the day.

If you would like to have your jump filmed, there is no need to book in advance - you can book and pay upon your arrival to the airfield on the day.

What do I wear?

The airfield will provide you with a jumpsuit on the day. You just need to wear comfortable clothing underneath and suitable tie up shoes (trainers or something similar would be ideal).

Can I wear glasses or contact lenses?

You can wear both of these. The airfields will have a range of goggles made to fit over glasses.

How can I book as a group?

You can book on as normal by following the link to Skyline’s booking form. Once you have entered your details on the first page, there is an option to tick a box and add group members. Enter the names and email addresses of everyone you would like to book there.
