26th April 2020
The 2.6 Challenge is a nationwide campaign that has been created to help charities across the UK. It's taking place on the 26th April which would have been the 40th London Marathon. On the day of the marathon Sands expected to raise over £80,000 for our important work but due to COVID-19 the event has now been delayed.
Will you join us on the 26th April and take part in the 2.6 challenge to help us raise vital funds?
Join us and the nation to become a home hero for Sands on the 26th April.
Whether you do 26 press ups, skip for 26 minutes, eat 26 different fruits or fly around the room 26 times with your superhero kids, we would love you to join us and raise funds for Sands. There is no need to run a marathon or jump out of a plane to take part. The more imaginative the idea the better, all you need to do is link the challenge to the number 26 or 2.6 - it's really that simple!
Ask friends and family to sponsor you or you can simply make a suggested donation of £26 to Sands for your efforts.
