Our super supporters Guru Technology have not only completed a 24-hour Cycle Challenge raising over £1,500 for Sands - they’ve smashed their annual fundraising target of £5,000!

Guru Technology’s support is enough to fund our accredited bereavement support services, including the helpline and Online Community for two weeks, potentially helping hundreds of families and healthcare professionals.

Guru Technology colleagues have really gone the extra mile to raise awareness and funds through a range of activities, including the Challenge Menu in Spring 2021, a football match featuring Sands United FC Northants vs Sands United FC All Stars, the Halloween Trek in October, and now the 24-hour Cycle team effort.

What's more, Guru Technology turned Pink and Blue across their brand to mark Baby Loss Awareness Week (9-15 October).

Kim Evans at Guru Technology said: “Throughout a very turbulent year, we are proud to have achieved our target of £5,000. We had a lot of fun in the process of raising money - from Arran and Tom eating dog food to JB dressing up, Pete and Britt eating cakes without their hands, to a rainy 15K and cycling through the night! We look forward to fundraising again in 2022!”
