Sands exists to save babies’ lives and ensure that anyone affected by pregnancy loss or baby loss receives the support and care they need.
Sands is looking for a Treasurer to join its Board of Trustees, to help save babies’ lives and support bereaved families.
The Board is responsible for the governance and strategic direction of Sands, and it also holds legal liability to sure that Sands is effectively and properly run.
As a Trustee you will be using your skills, experience and knowledge to help the Board of Trustees reach sound decisions. In addition, as the Treasurer you will also provide financial oversight, and ensure the financial stability of Sands, with funds being used to best and most appropriate effect in pursuance of its charitable objects.
Prior experience in financial management, or related roles within a non-profit or charitable organisation, would be desirable but is not essential.
