Together we can help everyone find the words to talk about pregnancy and baby loss.
Our Finding the Words campaign is part of our aim to break the silence around pregnancy loss and baby death by encouraging everyone to sensitively start a conversation with someone who has had this experience, however long ago.
Bereaved parents often tell us that when friends, family members and colleagues reach out to them following pregnancy loss or the death of their baby, it lets them know they aren't alone with their grief.
Who do you want to find the words to talk to?

Start a conversation about baby loss
Currently in the UK, 13 families a day suffer the heartbreak of losing their baby before, during or shortly after birth. And at least 15% of pregnancies end in miscarriage.
Talking about pregnancy loss or the death of a baby can feel very difficult but finding the right words at the right time can really help to support bereaved parents or families when they need it most.
You can help to break the silence and find the words to talk to a friend, family member, or colleague whose baby has died.

Bereavement at work
Creating a supportive workplace environment isn't always easy but is essential. Colleagues and managers tell us that they often don't know what to say or how to support someone who has had a miscarriage or if a colleague's baby has died.
Our Bereavement in the Workplace training is designed to help colleagues and managers to find the right words, implement best practice and support your HR and People Wellbeing policies. We are here to help you get it right.
If you are a bereaved parent who is thinking about returning to work or a colleague or a people leader looking for guidance on how to support a bereaved parent, download our returning to work booklet or find out more about our Bereavement in the Workplace training.
