Invitation to the Annual General Meeting & Sands’ Conference: Saturday 4 November 2017

I am writing to invite you to Sands AGM & Conference 2017 which is being held at (click on link):

The St John’s Hotel, 651 Warwick Road, Solihull, West Midlands B91 1AT.

The AGM will start at 9.00am on Saturday 4 November and will provide members with an opportunity to hear from the Board of Trustees and Chief Executive on progress made during the past year.   

Sands’ Conference will run from 10.15am – 4.30pm and will be on the theme of Working with others. There will be opportunities for members, volunteers, supporters and friends of Sands to participate in workshops and discussion groups, as well as time to network during the conference itself.

Notices of the AGM will be issued in due course and, to receive your notice in good time, you should ensure your membership is up to date by 29 September 2017.  Further details will also be posted on our website including links to accommodation booking for St. John’s Hotel and alternative hotels in the area.

For those of you travelling to Solihull on the Friday and staying overnight, the Trustees would also like to invite you to an informal reception on Friday 3 November from 6.30pm to 8pm at The St John’s Hotel, Brueton Bar. This is an ideal opportunity to meet other members, trustees and staff, so we do hope you will be able to join us.
