Sands worked with the Sunday Post for a health feature to highlight the issues faced by bereaved families. Lyndsey Spiers, a befriender for Aberdeen Sands, bravely spoke about marking her baby daughter Kirsty’s 10th anniversary on Easter Sunday. She explained the difficulties and anxiety faced in subsequent pregnancies and described how important good support is for anyone who has been affected by the death of a baby. Thanks very much to Lyndsey for sharing her personal experience to raise awareness of the issues surrounding stillbirth and neonatal death.
