Will Quince, the MP for Colchester, will today call for dedicated bereavement suites to be made available in every NHS hospital in the UK. Mr Quince and his wife, whose baby sadly died in October 2014, was able to spend precious time with his son In Colchester Hospital’s bereavement suite.
Sands’ Acting Chief Executive Judith Abela appeared on BBC Radio Essex over the weekend to reiterate our belief that there should be one dedicated bereavement room or suite in every hospital to ensure that all parents have space, time and privacy that is so important to build memories with their baby.
