Will Quince has praised Coronation Street for raising the issue of miscarriages. The Colchester MP paid tribute to actress Kym Marsh, a mum of four, who plays the role of Michelle Connor in the ITV soap. Last night (Monday) her character lost a baby in a miscarriage, something which happened to Kym in real life in 2009.
Mr Quince tweeted: “I know how hard it is to re-live the worst experience of your life. @msm4rsh you are incredibly brave and I applaud you.” The father-of-two also re-tweeted messages from the Sands charity which helps people who have suffered the loss of a baby. The Conservative MP and his wife Elinor also suffered the loss of their own son, who was stillborn in October 2014. Continue reading
