We are pleased to announce that a new Sands Group has set up in Teesside by 5 local bereaved parents.
Known as Teesside Sands, the new Group hopes that parents and families from Hartlepool, Stockton-on-Tees, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Redcar & Cleveland and surrounding areas will find great benefit from the new support. They also have plans to start fundraising in the near future.
Teesside Sands will kick off with its first support meeting on Tuesday 7th October.
Meetings will then continue to be held on the first Tuesday of every month from 7-9pm at:

Nicole Kirby, Chair, Teesside Sands: “Following the loss of our babies, a fellow bereaved mum and I expressed interest in setting up a support group. Sands put us in touch with other parents in the area who were interested in doing the same and together we have set up Teesside Sands. It is the first ever Sands Group in Teesside and we hope that it will fill a much needed gap in support for bereaved families in the area.”
