Our new film highlights the work Sands does supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby, improving bereavement care and pioneering new research to save more babies’ lives; and what you can do to help.

Each day this week we will introduce all the people in the film who will share their stories below in their own words.

Sands would like to thank video production company FRANK FILMS who made this film for Sands for free. 

Amanda De Freitas and her husband Paul, the owners of FRANK FILMS, lost their first son Frankie after he was stillborn in May 2011. 

Sands helped them though “their darkest hours” and cared for and supported them. The film is made in memory of, and to honour, Frankie.
