Our 2023-24 Impact Report shows how we’ve been working to deliver Sands’ Strategy vision, to create a world where fewer babies die and where anyone affected receives the best possible care and support for as long as they need.
We know we can’t achieve this vision alone. That’s why we work collaboratively with local Sands groups, volunteers, supporters and partners, bringing together our skills, experiences and expertise. Together we are saving babies’ lives and supporting bereaved families.
Together We Are Sands
Together we have:
- Been able to be there for even more people when they need us, delivering more than 230 volunteer-led support services across the UK.
- Made change happen so there’s better maternity and bereavement care, with more than 8,300 training and learning opportunities for healthcare professionals.
- Been involved with 90 research studies, alongside bereaved parents, so more families have a different story to tell in the future.
- Helped nearly 760,000 people to access our pregnancy and baby loss support, and our safer pregnancy advice.
