Name: Grace Banham

Why are you taking part in #challenge15?

I will be completing #challenge15 in memory of our daughter Violet Esme who was born sleeping whilst in labour in October last year.

Whilst in the birthing centre I was provided with leaflets from Sands, I never realised what support was out there for us bereaved parents until I came across Sands who has now become a charity very close to mine and my husband’s heart, who have supported us throughout and made us feel that we are not alone.

I want to help others going through a similar situation therefore I decided to complete #challenge15 to give something back and make my daughter proud.

What are you doing to complete your #challenge15?

I will be walking around the Lake District & Up The Old Man of Coniston over a couple of days to complete my challenge of 15 miles.

What are your top tips for fundraising?

My top tip would be to stay focused whatever you decide to do, every penny counts!
