Emma Hill is taking on the Cardiff Half Marathon fundraising for Sands. Here is her story.

I am running in memory of my twin boys who were still born on 22nd September 2017 as I result of twin to twin transfusion syndrome.

Biggest challenge...

I work in London 5 days a week and commute from the South coast. For me the biggest challenge is fitting in my training runs in the evenings after work.

Looking forward to

I love Cardiff it's such a great city and full of friendly people. My husband and I had our first holiday in Cardiff so it's a special place for us. Running a half marathon for me is about the whole weekend, taking in the atmosphere and enjoying it!

Target

I set my initial target at £300. I've currently raised just over £1000 and have been so overwhelmed by the support of family and friends

Finishing time

It's been a while since I've ran a half marathon so I'm hoping to finish at around 2 hours 10 mins
