Hi my name is Ben (nickname Gonzo) and I am from Oxford 

I have decided to run for Sands in memory of our daughter Daisy.

The Sands group gave us amazing  support in a very difficult time , I did get through via the Ballot but wanted to raise money for Sands.

I am the father to Daisy.

I have only raised via the sponsor forms as I am very private and didn't want to put it all over the internet etc.

My biggest challenge was the consistency of running , I do run a lot of Tough Mudders (43 so far)  that are 10 mile runs but you do stop and start so training for the Marathon was to keep running.

I am looking forward to being part of the special day running with amazing people and raising money for Sands.

The target I set was £300. 

I have not set a target time I just want to finish and enjoy the experience.
