We are pleased to announce the appointment of our Chief Executive Clea Harmer as the new Chair of the Maternity and Neonatal Stakeholder Council.
The Stakeholder Council enables a range of representatives from charities, professional bodies, academic and service user voice perspectives. Together they influence and contribute to the work of the Maternity and Neonatal Programme, as its members work towards the objectives from the three-year delivery plan for maternity and neonatal services.
Clea is passionate about the importance of peer support and in enabling parents to make the decisions that are right for them. She has been a long-standing, valued member of the Stakeholder Council and is looking forward to taking on her new role.
“I am delighted and honoured to have been appointed as the Chair of the Maternity and Neonatal Stakeholder Council. I look forward to continuing to work collaboratively and bring together our skills, expertise and experiences, to realize the vision of better and safer care for women, babies and their families.”
- Clea Harmer, Chief Executive of Sands.
