Start the New Year off on the right foot! 

A great event to walk off the Christmas and New Year celebrations, and maybe kick start a fitness regime! There is a full marathon, half marathon and 10k walk options plus a family fun 5k on Sunday! All start and finish at The Oval Cricket Ground, and take highlights of the Thames, and historic bridges, and many of the Capital's landmarks. Sign up as a team, or an individual, families are welcome. There are stops for snacks, a special medal and hot foot at the finish line! Sands is a Associate Partner with Action Challenge, anyone who selects Charity Sponsorship or Mixed Funding for Full Marathon or Half Marathon will get 25% off their registration fee. Discover our discounted registration fee, before you sign up and the minimum sponsorship targets.

Anyone who selects Own Place option can nominate Sands as their chosen charity to support. They pay for the cost of their place upfront, but they are not expected to raise a minimum sponsorship target, they can raise what they want for Sands.

Mixed Funding Reg Fee: £37.50, Minimum Sponsorship: £150

Own Place: Reg Free: £99, no minimum sponsorship target.

Half Marathon

Charity Sponsorship Reg Free: £15.00, Minimum Sponsorship: £225 

Mixed Funding Reg Fee: £30.00, Minimum Sponsorship: £120 

Own Place Reg Fee: £75, no minimum sponsorship target.

10k

Charity Sponsorship Reg Free: £10, Minimum Sponsorship: £150

Mixed Funding Reg Fee: £25, Minimum Sponsorship: £75 

Own Place Reg Fee: £49, no minimum sponsorship target.

5km 

Own Place Reg fee: £39, no minimum sponsorship target.

Charity Sponsorship and Mixed Fundraising will need to raise at least 50% of their minimum sponsorship target 4 weeks before the London Winter Walk go ahead, so their entry is secure.

As part of Team Sands you'll receive

• Once in a lifetime experience which will help save babies' lives and support anyone affected by the death of a baby. 

Sands want to ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of time.  We want to campaign for change and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the pain of losing a baby.

We all know someone who has lost a baby. So please join Team Sands and help us continue to be there for them.
