Sarah is a Consultant Obstetrician at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh. She leads research which aims to reduce the number of baby deaths and improve care for women and their families, and collaborates with experts from around the world on projects on the prediction and prevention of pregnancy complications.
Sarah chairs the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Stillbirth Clinical Study Group, is involved in UK and European Guideline development, and sits on the Scottish Government Stillbirth Subgroup. She is particularly interested in bringing her clinical and research expertise to the charity.
