Research studies database

Sands supports a range of research studies aiming to save babies' lives and improve care and support for parents and families.

The database below briefly summarises each research project that we currently support or have supported in the past. The list of research studies can be filtered by category tags, and the search bar in the top right hand corner allows you to search all the studies for anything of interest. Clicking on the research study name on the left hand side of the table brings up a window with more detail, including links out to more information about the research where this is available. For some studies, including all of those that Sands has directly funded, there are much more detailed summaries available on the website which are also linked from this list. Studies with an orange 'take part in research' tag are currently looking for people to take part and will link to our Take Part in Research page.

This database shows all the research studies we are supporting that are currently ongoing or have finished. If you would like to see a list of just the studies that have finished, please explore this database instead.
