For our Together, we are Sands campaign, we are celebrating the impact of the connections made within and beyond the Sands community.

Thank you to Donna for sharing her connection to our community – a community unlike any other.

"Following Charlotte's death I wanted to help other parents and set up Pembrokeshire Sands, running on my own for a while until help was available. I stepped away from the group but have kept involved with Sands through fundraising, Co hosting Lights of Love and being part of Pride.

"When HeatherJane and Dave said they wanted to help parents in Cardiff as there was no group in South Wales, our group funded them to get them started and have watched them go from strength to strength extending the Sands groups into South West Wales. Twenty years later we're still the best of friends."
