For our Together, we are Sands campaign, we are celebrating the impact of the connections made within and beyond the Sands community.

Thank you to Martin for sharing his connection to our community – a community unlike any other.

"Before Evie Grace was born sleeping, myself, my wife and our 3 sons were blissfully unaware of Sands, but they have become a huge part of our lives. 

"In 2019 I answered a Facebook advert for bereaved men to join a Sands football team. My family came to the games where I played with pride in memory of Evie Grace. 

"Over the years our boys grew, 2 of them now play in the team, and the youngest joins in at training. 

"My wife is now the team secretary, and our rainbow daughter is also our biggest fan.

"Sands United are more than a team, we are a family!"
