The BMW Berlin Marathon is one of the Big 7 marathons that make up the World Marathon Major series, and holds the most marathon world records for men and women. Starting over half a century ago, this event pulls in over 54,000 runners and is one of the most loved races due to its flat, looping course, tepid weather and enthusiastic onlookers. This course is perfect for novice to advanced runners and is a great way to see the city, passing Brandenburg Gate, the Victory Column, Reichstag and much more!
Please note you are registering for your place only, which does not include travel or accommodation.
You can sign up in one of two ways. Either through a Sands charity place and commit to raise a minimum amount for Sands. Or you can use your own place and fundraise what you can for Sands.

As part of Team Sands you'll receive
• Warm Sands welcome with fundraising ideas and training tips
• Supportive team emails to help you get to know Sands
• Free Sands running vest
• Once-in-a-lifetime experience which will help save babies’ lives and support anyone affected by the death of a baby
The difference you will make
Sands want to ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of time. We want to campaign for change and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the pain of losing a baby.
We all know someone who has lost a baby. So join Team Sands and help us continue to be there for them.
''Seeing the support of the SANDS team along the way was incredible. Running for a cause that I care about deeply was the best motivation there could be.''
